This group of citizens meets monthly and performs a variety of services, such as
Cooking holiday meals and delivering to elderly or disabled members of the community.
Garden Club
Plants flower gardens around city
American Legion
Scholarships. Assists in paying for santa's yearly visit. All kids get gift plus candy
Auxiliary
Jolly Worker's Club
This group of women meets monthly for entertainment, play bingo or find new restaurants to go out to eat. The ages range from 40 to 80 and they are always glad to have new members.
Masonic Lodge
Donates to school band; pays preschool registration for hardship; supplies emergency clothes, gloves, hats for school children; has supplied local scholarships; assists in local benefits.
Eastern Star
Authors Club
Teachers volunteer with 1st through 4th grade students who write and publish books
Boy Scouts
Girl Scouts
Both scouts annually have eagle projects that involve community betterment. Have had trees planted. Bleachers improved. Signs for town. Do annual food drive.
