Plans I have no fixed plan for Korea except I need to earn some money and I can stay for 3 months . Maybe I could extend the visa. Also if I went to visit Japan or Vladivostock my 3 months would begin again. My ticket to the UK expires in the middle of October if I stay later than that I would have to buy a new ticket.

So I hope to stay in one place and do some work. I don't want to work in Seoul, I prefer a small city or town so I can meet people my age. And I hope to go to some festivals (like the Muju enviromental firefly festival) and techno music parties. I have bought the WWOOF book and may visit some of the farms and other places like the Green University. I might do a long distance walk like walking around Gangwha Island.

After 6 months in New Zealand my Hangul is almost nothing, but is slowly growing. I am finding that like New Zealand most people like to eat and drink, but for me it's not the food or drink that's important. I would never be able to win a drinking competition against Koreans. What is important to me is sharing time and experiences with people. I might go to the theatre festival in Geochang http://www.kift.or.kr Period: July 31 ~ August 17 Every year

(congratulations to Lee and Noona on the birth of their son)
