Dear Parents,
I have listed the summer birthdays, in case your child wants to bring a treat. Some children already celebrated their half birthday, so I am mentioning this in case you have not.
I want to thank all of you for all of your help and cooperation this past school year. We have had a great year and I am very proud of all of my first graders. I will miss them.
Please have your child bring a heavy duty bag to bring home all of their books and supplies next Friday, May 22nd. On Tuesday, May 26th we will
clean the classroom. Please have your child bring two clean rags for that day.
We are finishing up all of our books. There will not be a phonics test next week. The only homework they really have is to study for their sight word test which is on Tuesday, May 19th.

P.S. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS ON TIME FOR SCHOOL NEXT MONDAY, MAY 18TH. THE FIRST GRADE IS IN CHARGE OF THE COVEY HABITS ASSEMBLY THAT DAY. THEY NEED TO BE IN THE GYM BY 8:05.
