| I retired from corporate America in the year 2000. Since the passing of my husband in 2001, I am trying to restructure my life. The book club has provided me with a chance to get back into reading books for pleasure and general insight. I also appreciate the sisterhood of the group when we discuss book material and sometimes relate our personal experiences concerning the subjects. I feel a sense of growth during these discussions, hence, the title, Still I Rise, seems so appropriate.
