Poem written by my dad for Nicolette's funeral- Tho I must leave you for a little while, Be thou brave and show a smile. For though I've passed, I'm not gone. Through your memories I'll live on. Reach out your heart for comfort and cheer, Remember that I'll always be near. The house of our Lord is my new place, Wrapped in the arms of His embrace. In Heaven's glow, I'll wait for you. At your journey's end, we'll start anew. Together there will always be, Laughing and loving and forever free, Free from heartache, pain and strife, No more death, eternal life.
