Welcome!

My name is Stina1701. It is not my REAL name but it is the handle I use as my online identity, either on forums or on post groups. And as a webpage is an 'online' activity I thought it appropriate to use my online pseudonym on it as well.

Here I will be displaying houses that I have created and decorated for the game, The Sims. I started playing this game... oh ages ago it seems. Before the second expansion, the Living Large or Living It Up as it is called here, came out. Now, 7 expansions later, several re-installs, 1 huge mega crash due to a virus, several other re-installs again and at least 2 hard drive formats I am starting with a 'clean slate'. New families, new names and a new generation awaits to move into my neighbourhood.

My favourite neighbourhood and the one I am focusing on right now is Neigbhourhood 1; with all the Maxis original characters, like the Newbies, the Goths and the recent additions from Unleashed; the Burbs, Goth Seniors and the all the others.

And it is this neighbourhood the houses displayed on this webpage recide on. I do play in other Neighbourhoods and I will display houses from those as well, someday.

I have to admit that I don't give the original Maxis families much play time as I am too wrapped up in my original created Sims and their lives, but I like having them around as they make good friends...well most of them anyway...to my created families. And like with my originally created families, I like creating houses for them. Just incase I decide to visit, I have them in a house that I like playing in as opposed to the Maxis created houses.

Not that I have anything against the Maxis houses. I like them just fine--although built abit cramped and the strange angles on the corners can be annoying. I prefer a clean 90° angles on my corners--and they are good to use when I am too lazy to create my own. BUT ones own is always the best as they are created with exactly what I need. But enough of my blather (I do like to blather don't I :) ). Lets head on into the house area.

But before we begin. You have to know that I have all the expansions installed including Making Magic. But I do not have Deluxe or even Double Deluxe. Keep that in mind if you decide to use my houses. When I didn't have Unleashed and expansions after that, all houses I installed that was made with Unleashed crashed in my game when I tried to play them.
