   Mama always said to me
that life is surely like
A box of the sweetest chocolates,
 not knowing what's inside.

For you never know what you'll get
 until you take a bite
 And taste the centre offering
 the sweetest kind of life.

   Such simple philosophy
 that one could never deem
To look beyond the very world
of he who dares to dream!

For we take it all for granted
 thinking it will always be
 There for our own taking
 until Eternity.

 But just as the simplicity
spoken in those words
We never know what life will bring
 in our box of "desserts".

 We could be gone tomorrow
with the blink of an eye
So let's not take for granted
this gift we have called life.

So open up your heart today
 and see what's deep inside
 Peel the outer layers back
and have a taste of life.

Just like a box of chocolates
we won't know what we get,
But rest assured if we take care
 we will have no regrets!

"Inspired by the well-known movie "Forrest Gump" this phrase is one which we are all bound to remember.   But do we know what these particular words actually mean?   Forrest may have been "simple" to most, but he saw things as they truly were.   And he knew, firstly by what his mother told him and then by experience, that life really IS like a box of chocolates....because you never ever know what you are going to get!   One can seek mediums, clairvoyants and astrologers to help them predict their futures, but the fact remains that our lives remain like those box of chocolates.   Unknown sweetness or sourness until we try it.   So without taking it for granted, let's begin to live our lives abundantly....taking care along the way, and never ever having any regrets!"
