| Our house has 3 rooms, a medium-small kitchen, one bathroom and a good size living-dining-breakfast room. There is a big garage with a shop in the back yard and the lot is just short of an acre, though only about 1/4 of that is fenced. The living room have a place for a small wood stove and we plan to get one in the future, but right now the TV resides there. Covington is famous for being the only town that was spared on Sherman's March to the Sea, and you can still see old townhouses and colonial style mansions in the old district. |

| We passed areas hit by snow storms and ice storms to arrive in Georgia spring weater in February of 2002. |

| We stayed with our friend John for some months before we bought our own house in Covington, about an hour's drive east of downtown Atlanta. It is a fast growing but still semi-rural area. |
