Honestly, it's pretty easy to sign up. What you do is you go to the Join Up section on the main page and follow your directions and your as good as in. To be true to how wrestling is, try to have a lot of freedom for your character, because the shows will be much better if nobody is able to determine beforehand what the outcome will be a.k.a. "predictable matches". As for the rules, I only have a few and they are pretty easy to follow...
1. No Complaining. I cannot stress this. You cannot imagine how many people write to me complaining that they missed the time to R.P. and their match didn't go as planned. Well that's just the way of the wrestling world, it will just have to make you try harder in order to win your matches.
2. No racial slurs or constant cursing. If they don't use them in real wrestling, I don't want to see them in your role-plays. I will be lenient on the cussing but too much of it and your gone. Got it?!!!
3. Follow the time limits given. If your told on the role-play board to have your interviews in by a certain time, then have them in by that time. No exceptions.
4. Filing requests for matches must be made in writing approximately one week before that show airs.
5.If you just show up and don't role-play, your will be dropped from the roster after two weeks of not role-playing, unless you have informed ahead of time that you are taking time off.
6. Finally, You may role-play and respond to role-plays as many times as you like. There is no limit here. Just try to keep it clean.
Role-playing is fairly simple to do given the means. All it is essentially is a interview you may give, either about yourself, about your match, or about anything you want. But it must be directed toward a certain plot. You can't just say that you came down while the guy you were going to face that night was in the ring and you decided to jump him. I mean that's not creative, plus, unless you have his permission to be in that role-play, you can't use it. So strategize, think about your interviews, and go out with what you like to do best.
All matches will be posted on the Monday Mayhem page, on the Tuesday following that match, and on Friday's following Thursday Carnage. If it is a PPV match, it will be posted there.
The results for Monday Mayhem, will be under the results page for Mayhem. The same applies for Thursday Carnage. The PPV results will be under the results page for that PPV.
I'm glad you asked that question. We have a grand total of 5 major titles up for grabs here in the IWF. They are...
The IWF National Heavyweight Champion
The IWF Centeral American Championship
The IWF Television Championship
The IWF Cruiserweight Championship
and
The IWF Tag Team Championship
[ In order for you to get a title match, you must be a top contender in the rankings. This is determined by your win-loss record, and your request for a title match.]
