( All info out of handbook ) This suit was built by Stark to keep his Heart beating after shrapnel reached his heart in a terrorist bomb in Viet-Kong in Tales of Suspense 39 The Original Gray Armor, Model 1, Mark 1. The suit was made from spare parts, and is a miracle that it even worked. The armor was gray, and definitely low tech. The armor had a semi-rigid interior, with a 3-D knitted metallic exterior made of regular iron.
The most vital instrument on the armor was the pacemaker for Stark's heart to keep beating. Mini transistors powered the suit and gave Starks metal body allot more strength.
The suit was installed with negative feedback motion sensors, while linear motors moved the armor. The suit was sensitive to power so it had to be recharged often. This was done by cords deployed from the armor to a wall outlet.
Features: Mini buzz saw, (In index fingertip.) gauntlet suction cups, air pressure jets in the boots for short range flight.
Weapons: Chest-mounted proton beam (7 yd. range.) wrist mounted repulsors (reverse magnetism.) |
