| Band and background THE STINKING BISHOPS formed about 4 years ago, and ever since have been producing some of the finest tunes in the east (anglian) bay. The band consists of 3 members: Nick (drums), Ady (bass and backing vocals), and Toby (guitar & lead vocals). They also have a fourth member – Adam, who plays the harmonica on ‘Felt the Knife’. Despite the presumptions of our more dirty-minded supporters, our name actually comes from a type of CHEESE. Surprisingly enough, this particular type of cheese smells, hence the “STINKING” bishop. We cleverly adapted the name of the cheese (by adding an ‘s’ on the end of bishop) so that we could use it. N.B. Nick actually came up with the name, so if we are breaking the law or anything, you know who it was you nice cheese manufacturers.
