Donations and pledges have continued to grow throughout the year.

OUR THERMOMETER KEEPS RISING!

Almost every person in our parish can take some credit for the dramatic increase in our building fund during the month of September; whether through a donation of money or through your involvement in one of our many fundraising activities.

For the month of September, donations were $3,883.50, Fundraising $7,513.92, Interest and G.S.T. Rebate $449.17, totaling $11,846.59.  Our grand total is now $275,740.13 from all monies collected.  This includes our 1 ½ acres of land south of Minnewasta School which we value at $28,067.52.

Our objective is to reach $450,000 by the fall of 2002.  Sounds ambitious, but it can be done with everyone doing their share.

In addition, we expect sale of our present property and approval of our new Bishop will allow us to start to build at that time.

BUILDING FUND UPDATE

THANK YOU, EVERYONE who donated so generously to our building fund in 2000.  This is the third straight year in which we have surpassed our objective.
Donations for the year were $40,118.02, Fundraisers totaled $30,942.45 and interest was $7,670.79 for a total of $78,731.26 in 2000.  Our grand total is now $260,006.89.
Our objective for 2001 is the same as last year, which is to raise $75,000.  Please do your share.  A detailed report will be mailed to each parishioner in February.
