Day 1: Sunday March 19th
Direct flight from Cork to Malaga then on by coach to our hotel on the outskirts of Granada.

Day 2:
Monday March 20th
Visit the Royal chapel in Granada which contains the tomb of Ferdinand and Isabella. Some free time to wander around Granada. Afternoon visit to the Alhambra, the crowning glory of Moorish architecture in Spain. Then travel by coach to Seville where we stay at the Hotel Murillo in the Santa Cruz district.

Day 3:
Tuesday March 21st
Tour of Seville, by coach to the buildings of the city's two great world Expositions and on foot to the cathedral, which contains the tomb of Christopher Columbus and an impressive treasury, then on through the narrow streets of the old city, the atmospheric Santa Cruz district, near our hotel, to the Golden tower by the river and later to the University and the old railway station, now converted into a shopping centre and cinema..

Day 4:
Wednesday March 22nd
Travel from Seville to Cordoba to visit the great mosque and the city's Jewish quarter. Then on to Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol, where we stay at the Hotel Las Rampas.

Day 5:
Thursday March 23rd
Early start in order to catch the early sailing from Algericas to Morocco. Coach and walking tour of Tangiers. Dinner in a local restaurant with entertainment provided, music and belly dancing. Time to visit a traditional carpet shop and herbal pharmacy. Stunning sunset on the return crossing.

Day 6:
Friday March 24th
Tour to Gibraltar, cable car trip to the top of the rock with a stop at Apes Den and St. Michael's cave. Back to the town past the cemetery containing graves of the victims of the battle of Trafalgar, the governor's house and on to the shopping area.

Day 7:
Saturday March 25th
Free day to sit by the pool or go shopping in Fuengirola. Alternatively travel by local train to Malaga to visit the Gilberalfo, Picasso house and cathedral. Easter Procession takes place through the city to the cathedral at 19:00.

Day 8: Sunday March 26th
Travel from Fuengirola to Malaga airport. Direct flight to Cork.
