As of 9/14/02 KFBD 97.9 (Waynesville) was upgraded to 25k a couple of years ago and switched to Country. Now they are switching back to Classic Rock with Jones Radio Network. "The New Solid Rock 97.9" 1150 KRMS (Osage Beach) adds more and more sports to the station. They now carry NASCAR, along with the STL Rams, KC Chiefs, STL Blues, KC Royals and Mizzou. In Cuba, Mo 107.3 signed on as "KESY". Format is a Soft AC and/or AC type. 101.5 KPLA has let go of Janice "Host of Sunset Drive" for replacement Delilah. Also, their are some rumors of KPLA changing to different call letters and/or format. Z-93 The Mix changed from Hot ACR to Hot AC, running as "Mix 92.7" KCSX 97.3 will change its city of license from Moberly, MO to Lee's Summit MO, thereby moving from the Columbia to the Kansas City market. As a result, many stations will change, including several frequency changes in MO. They are as follows: Chillicothe KCHI-FM 103.9 to 97.5 La Monte KPOW-FM 97.1 to 97.7 Malta Bend KRLI 97.5 to 103.9 Nevada KNMO 97.7 to 97.5 Warsaw KAYQ 97.7 to 97.1 KGRC 92.9 in Hannibal, MO has switched from Classic Hits to Soft AC. KOOL 106.1 has switched and become "Q-106.1" a CHR station (still under the KOQL call letters). 104.1 KJCQ is now KLIK Country 104 playing alot of classic country and new country hits. Mike Rice's radio stations are still in the DC court of appeals being decided. The FCC cannot sell or auction any of these stations until the court meeting is over. So far 98.3 KFMZ and 101.9 KBMX are off the air. 103.5 KROW and 102.1 KFXE (Construction Permits) are still unknown and undecided. KSSZ "Kiss 93.9" has switched from Lite Rock to FM Talk "93.9 The Eagle." Their Lineup is here, CLICK. KFLW 98.9 has switched from Oldies to Classic Hits.
