Service Projects
Service projects are a way for Girl Scouts to help other people
and show they support the community.
In 1999 our then Program Aide, Tristan, and a few of her troop mates decided to collect pop tops for Ronald McDonald House Charities as part of their Bridging to Cadettes. Not only did they get their family and friends involved, they recruited participants within their troop, their sister Brownie Troop and the Cadette Troop they were joining.  Their efforts resulted in collecting over 8,000 can tops which were delivered  to Ronald McDonald House Charities in June 2000.  Our troops have decided to continue this project and are in the process of preparing a presentation to our Service Unit for  everyone to be involved.  We will keep you posted.
