St.Myers Racing Team went to Montpelier Speedway today. Thirty-seven cars ran four heats and two B-mains. Heats races were won by the 65 of Sherman, 22 driver unknown, and 11JS driver also unknown and 7H of Elvin Herschberger. Doug got the car around in his heat but kept it going. With not a lot of track to get a hold, of the 4S ended up 6th in the heat.

In the B-Main, the 4S looked like a different car completely. Doug took charge at the green and never looked back, winning the race with ease followed by the 6J of Jones. The second B-Main was won by the 75L of Greg Lambert followed by Chuck Sneed in the 10 car.

Doug found himself starting 17th in the feature. On the green Doug went on a charge to the front moving all the way up to third. Things looked really good until a late caution and the left rear tire went away. Elvin Herschberger won his second straight feature over Todd Sherman, with the 4S in third and the 75M of Dusty Moore fourth.
