The Busch maps, born of 2 decades of research, evidences that ancient history, as taught in traditional education, has failed us. In the distant past the imperfections of human knowledge have been recorded in all scientific disciplines and have been taught in education. Education at 500 BC allowed Herodotus (the father of ancient history) to record our past; the same way education allowed the invention and spraying of DDT: but it was not wise by today’s standards nor was it without error. The earliest securely recorded understanding of the formation of philosophy, science, and religion is a temple to human understanding of self. For the first time we stand at a new door to our history. Ancient American has with this publication opened for all time the door of Stoahist understanding; may humanity proceed with wisdom. |
“I know that I saw him here in the halls of Dascylus my father, when he came hither on foot through the land of Asia bringing the girdle of warlike Hippolyte; and me he found with the down just growing on my cheeks. (…) Here once when Melanippe, daughter of Ares, had, gone forth, the hero Heracles caught her by ambuscade and Hippolyte gave him her glistening girdle as her sister's ransom, and he sent away his captive unharmed. In the bay of this headland, at the outfall of Thermodon, they ran ashore, for the sea was rough for their voyage.” (Argonatica, Book 2) “God created man in his own image: (…) a garden eastward in Eden; (…) And a river went out of the Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into 4 heads. (Lakes) The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; And the gold of the land is good: there is bedellium and the onyx stone. And the name of the second river (lake) is Gihon: the same it is that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. And the name of the third river (lake) is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. (…) and the serpent said (…) and they sewed fig-leaves together, and made themselves aprons. (…) God walking in the Garden in the cool of the day; (…) And the Lord God said, Behold the man is become as one of us,” (Genesis, Chap 1, 2, 3) While being pursued by Zeus, Ge turned herself into a fig tree to save her son Sykeus. The name for ancient Sykea (Skiaro as in Themiscyreia) arose from this myth. (Other ancient Greek mythologies.) ------------------- ** -------------------- Humanities faltering footsteps beyond the earth has been far outstretched by the human minds thirst to know now the unknown future of space exploration. Where there are no answers today to questions humanity has made up answers and displayed them in science fiction. In shows that “Boldly go were no man has gone before” (Star Trek) humanity has reached beyond the present to satisfy today our need for adventure and answers. We are even given cautions: in Star Treck’s “Prime Directive” we are told not to interfere with the social development of a race or we will pollute the intellectual evolution of early developing societies. So it was in the past. Stoahist theory teaches that the first ships that sailed on the oceans were in many ways no different then the space ships of today. Both went on adventures to far and distant lands with their crew returning to tell of the great wonders of the universe. At 3000 and 2000 BC the media of the day was not the movie screen we know but rather oral presentations. Today factual movie documentaries about space ship adventures make money; but more is made by the science fiction movies that give us the answers we need, be the answers correct or incorrect. So it was in the distant past: oral presentations about naval ship adventures satisfied the human need for answers, be the answers right or wrong. These answers were given at that time before the moral codes of today that suggested perhaps one should not lie or mislead people for ones own personal gain. These answers were given to a people who were not trained in discerning conjecture from fact or in the scientific method. At that time a metaphor such as “I came following navigation by the stars,” meant “He came through the sky! “I came on a ship with a white linen sail that catches the wind,” might mean, “he came on a cloud.” Without a moral code and without the prime directive as in the Star Trek movies the sailors on the first ships to contact the diverse evolutionary branches of humanity had no reason in the face of great opportunity not to advance their own personal gain by changing vulnerable newly evolving social orders. “I come through the skies on a cloud. When my dog obeys my commands understand that even the wild animals obey me. My skin is a different color and I live twice as long as you. I am a God. Call me Perseus, Manitou, and Pharos. Look into my mirror of polished stone and know that I can see you wherever you are: you cannot escape me. I will teach and lead you: you will be happy to serve me, and my children, as your God. Great orators, holy men, amongst your people will memorize and praise my family linage and ultimately you will record this in text, perhaps to endure forever.” Passed down from the imperfect mirror of ancient human understanding, as recorded in ancient text from around the world, is the one place called, “Land of the Dead;” Punt, Pont Puants, Patala, and Valhalla. The children of the early mariners who were accepted as Manitou – Gods by the societies already in the Americas still brag that they are descended of the “First People.” It is there name born of reality as seen through the eye of ancient human understanding. The question of who were people and who were not would rise again 3500 years later when Pope Paul III would issue a bull declaring North American Natives were humans. The Bush maps are just another way of introducing the world to the universe of Busch and Stoahist theory. Amongst other things they are an introduction to the historical reference to the girdle – apron that belonged to the lady the Hebrew called Eve and the Greeks called Ge or Hippolyte. In association with ancient copper artifacts of a type known to be more than 4000 years old, the girdle was found near Ketegaunseebee in a beautiful cove that shows no sign of habitation, old or new. The cove is on a lake on whose shores are the remenents of 5000 ancient pure copper mines worked during the ancient Copper Age. Ketegaunseebee, that in Ojibwe means “The Creator’s Garden,” is the Garden River Reserve. Ketegaunseebee is also known by the Ancient Greek names Sykea and Themiscyreia matching the Ojibwe name Skiaero found on a relatively modern map from 1656 AD in the Sault St. Marie public library. The ancient girdle from the Creator’s Garden area is in the shape of a fig leaf and is made of the metal called tin. It should be noted that for ancient purposes in the Americas there were no usable tin deposits, and no fig trees. In the Mediterranean figs grew near the water in such great abundance that they were fed to slaves and animals. Because they were plentiful, free, supplied up to 3 crops a year, and kept well, dried figs were used as a stable food on long and difficult journeys. Celtic voyagers who poured metals and journeyed half way around the world with figs in their ships used the shape of the fig leaf for metal ingots - jewelry: consequently the metal used to pour the ingots was named after the fig tree using the common name for the fig tree were it grew. The Arabic word for fig is “tin.” The nearest tin mines were on Celtic islands called “Tin Islands” that today we call England. In 1998 Busch published that in the bush near Peterborough, at an ancient foundry called the Bush Stone, exists a side-by-side group of H shaped Cornish tin ingot molds. Later in the year 2001 Busch rediscovered in a private collection the Tin Fig Leaf Girdle: on the Bush Stone right beside the Cornish tin ingot molds are two weathered but very distinct triangular leaf shaped moulds. |

This explains how the tin fig leaf girdle, most likely poured in the still existing molds at Peterborough, owned by a Celtic man named Zeus, ended up at the trading outlet called Skiaero – Themiscyreia – Ketegaunseebee – The Creator’s Garden (Trade from the pure copper, silver, and gold rich shores of Superior - Thermodon.) as a gift for his daughters and lover. Zeus was a Celtic man descended of a group that called themselves “Eden” and “People” (See: “Eneteian Pelops.” Argonautica). Zeus walked with men of the Amazon Iroquois style confederacy of three nations in the village of Ketegaunseebee, “The Creators Garden;” and did have children there. Greek mythologies indicate that Zeus did give a lady or ladies involved in his life, fig leaf shaped girdles made of tin that glistens, a product of his trade and wealth. Back home in European and African cultures ruled by Celtic leaders, Zeus (Also known by other names.) was elevated to the status of father of the Celts who claimed to be Gods, because of his exploits, wealth, and the fact that many of his children and grandchildren did well playing prominent intercontinental roles. Amongst the natives of Ketegaunseebee Zeus was already considered a Manitou – God. Amongst the Amazon the descendents of Zeus rightfully claimed to be descended from the “People;” being the First People of the Creators Garden of the Eden. From this contact and similar contacts with many Celts (Manitou) was born the great nation Ojibwe, brothers of the Iroquois. The Ojibwe today still call themselves “The First People.” Though Zeus spent time in Themiscyreia, and may have wintered there, his mound is in Algoma Mills (Found by Busch from the location given in the Argonautica.) by a beautiful stone circle with a libation bowl, large stone alter and inner circle. Ship building activities are evidenced at Algoma mills, by the stone docks left behind and what was a modern archaeological dig. Because Zeus was the “Thunder God,” 5000 years later, near Algoma Mills, Willie Pine of the longest surviving line of Celtic Priests of the First People branch, still holds a religious service of the Ojibwa tradition on a hill still called Thunder Mountain. As part of the unbroken tradition Willie uses a circle of stones. The dignity and wisdom of this Pipe Carrier, Shaman, past Chief, and respected Elder fits well with what one would expect from a man who holds the chair once occupied by the Celtic man Zeus. Other compelling evidence from Greek and Hebrew sources suggests that at the mouth of the Garden River the Celtic “Sea People” planted a village in a new country, an original settlement that ancient texts refer to as the Garden of Eden, Creators Garden, Ketegaunseebee, Themiscyreia, Skiaero and Sykea. The finding of the Girdle proves it: for ancient purposes there were no tin mines in the Americas, there were no fig trees in the Americas and no fig wasps to pollinate none existent fig trees in the Americas. The Bush maps display a small part of the ancient log from a ship called the Argo that sailed before 1700 BC. The antiquity and authenticity of the Argonautica (voyage of the Argo) is above question. (http://sunsite.berkeley.edu/OMACL/Argonautica/book2.html) Before maps were invented, as we understand them today, the log of the ship Argo served as a highly accurate road map and travel guide to, through, and from the Americas. On the Busch maps the red line and associated writing gives the path, speed, and journey of the Argo. Many of the First Nations words are taken from place names on early maps from before the white mans occupation. Even modern maps are covered with place names handed down from the native First People. At 500 BC a historian named Herodotus attempted to translate words found in the Argonautica. This translation failed because Herodotus did not have an understanding that North America existed; or he deliberately gave out false information to conceal the actual location of Armorica, the Tin Islands, and America. (Being the possession claimed by the Armoricans) As a result, the attributes of North America (Asia, Pont, Ister, Ethiopia, etc.) were incorrectly imposed upon the limited scope of world geography, available to or claimed by Herodotus at the time. Knowing this and knowing that ancient spelling was not standardized are key elements in understanding the Busch maps. Every word and sentence on the maps has been carefully researched over years. A bibliography is being prepared and will be available. In late February or early march the fig leaf girdle will be on display at “Black Cat Too” in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada during a book signing for the release of the revised edition of “The Special Theory of Ancient History.” When I was first shown the girdle – apron by the owner, we did not know what shape it represented, the metal from which it was made or it’s purpose. After months of study I was able to tell the owner it was a girdle by the vagina carved into it: he did not agree with this at the time. From other research, some of which is still unpublished, I had already known the historical reference to the Garden of Eden was in the Great Lakes basin. At the time of first telling the owner it was a girdle I said “wouldn’t it be something if it was in the shape of a fig leaf.” Later that afternoon I learnt the shape of a fig leaf. Since then the owner has taken me to a beautiful cove on Thermodon - Lake Superior to show me where the tin fig leaf girdle came from. There is still to this day no sign of habitation were the girdle was found. Over the last 2 years I have met with the owner of the Girdle many times now we have gotten to know each other very well. The reason I am stating this is to assure all that I am confident that applying an electron microscope to the aprons patina: the film that formed over the centuries, will give its date. A patina test was conducted on the Ossuary of the brother of Jesus. (National Post, Oct. 22, 2002: Toronto Canada, p. A2) Albert Einstein was able to advance knowledge and understanding without having to correct long established false teachings. Unfortunately for the fathers of Astronomy, Galileo and Copernicus, in order to put forward their work, they had to overcome and defeat deep-seated false scholastic and religious teachings that had held sway for over 1500 years. Copernicus and Galileo failed to overcome the philosophical argument “We can not be so wrong” put forward by the scholars of their day. It is no wonder Copernicus died in obscurity and Galileo was sentenced to life imprisonment. Today it is more difficult for me to put forward my work then it was for Copernicus and Galileo. I must overcome religious and scholastic teachings in place for over 2000 years. If Galileo and Copernicus think the scholars of their day were arrogant and unable to accept being wrong, they should see the scholars of today! Fortunately my proofs are solid and my many field discoveries speak for themselves making it easier for the general public to understand, then were the works of Galileo and Copernicus in their day: on the other hand my research greatly expands our knowledge of the foundation of philosophy and religions. Are we more able today to accept the imperfections of our humanity and to accept histories recorded thousands of years ago are consequently imperfect, needing corrections at times? I suspect that Copernicus, rejected by his fellow men knew the immortal place he had carved out for himself in human memory, even though he would be scorned for generations. Humanities acceptance of a new proven theory is often slow, painful, and uneven. The planting of Stoahist theory that it might grow into the reshaping of philosophy is like the falling of a newborn seed. There are birds that would pick at it for their pleasure or hunger. The winds of time must be survived that have blown so many seeds into the sea of oblivion. A stream that flows beyond human reach, and quenches a human thirst for a grasp of the unknown must water this seed. From the distant past the reach of Herodotus extends 2500 years, but what is shown in the Busch maps is for the first time firmly beyond and in the grasp of humanity. Those that would pick at the truth do so at their own peril: truth is a poison that often destroys both those who put it forward and those that would oppose it. The winds of time may blow as they will for truth as a “idea in it’s time is more powerful than any army that has ever marched or any law ever passed.” (Abraham Lincoln) In humbleness I give to humanity, this life’s work. Dec. 24, 2002 (To be Read with the Busch Maps) Great writers in fictional stories, often with no intended message or inner meaning allow us to perceive a different view of the world and its events: they guide us to larger understanding of realities. It was in this way that “2000 Leagues Under the Sea,” written by Jules Verne prepared humanity in 1870 AD for a new world with nuclear submarines long before the invention of either submarines or nuclear power. In a similar way understanding Stoahist theory requires a different view of the world and its events, a comparative view offered by J.R.R. Tolkiens fictional books “The Lord of the Rings,” and “Trilogy of the Rings.” In Tolkiens “Trilogy of the Rings” metal from ancient mines was forge into nineteen rings to be given to the rulers of Middle Earth: similar to real religions, the rings help leaders mould and facilitate the advance of diverse cultures. In Tolkiens book Sauron, the greatest leader of his time, forges a twentieth master ring that conforms to the owner and controls the lesser rings; similarly a man named Zeus, the greatest leader of his time and whose mound has recently been found in Algoma Mills, gave (forged) a ring of “glistening” metal to his daughter that lived at Skiaero. The most ancient metal mines on earth are found on Superiors shores and on an Island called Minong on maps from 1761 AD. The word Minong comes from the first sea faring miners called Minoan and was handed down to map makers from the natives who call themselves the “First People” (As did Eve) and whose descendants still live at Ketegaunseebee. (Ketegaunseebee means “Creators Garden.”) It is here that the Minoans, from whence came the ancient word “mine,” forged a ring of glistening metal, a metal not available in the Americas but abundantly available in the distant home Celtic land called Armorica. (After 54 BC Armorica was renamed Brittany when Rome destroyed its intercontinental fleet during a naval battle recorded in Julius Caesars surviving book, “Commentaries on the Gallic Wars.”) The outer edge side of the metal ring the ancient Minoan formed to a shape known to the Arabs in the holy lands as the shape of a leaf from the tree they call the tin tree and we call the fig tree. No fig trees grew in the Americas. The inside of the ring the Minoan of Minong shaped to conform to the owner of a Girdle. The Fig Leaf Girdle is called a Glistening Girdle, Fig Tree, Fig Leaf Apron, and Belt of Hercules in the ancient text of at least 4 major world religions: three of the religions survive today. The remaining rings of major world faiths are tied to the Fig Leaf Girdle by the place of its discovery referred to in their ancient texts as the Land of the Dead, called Valhalla, Patala, Punt, and Pont. The Land of the Dead was still called Puan and Puants on maps of the Great Lakes from between 1656 AD and 1761 AD using names from the First People. When found after thousands of years the master ring of Tolkiens story presents problems and challenges; similarly the reappearance of the lost Fig Leaf Girdle from the dawn of antiquity in it’s rediscovery cries out for understanding and advancement of human knowledge. Busch solved the mystery of the Fig Leaf Girdle by consulting the most ancient writings: Gandalf, a character from “Trilogy of the Rings,” consults the most ancient of beings to understand the master ring and its power. By comparison of reality and fiction does Tolkiens guide us to a larger understanding by asking us to consider what if any will result from the power of the Glistening Ring, the hither to unknown commonality between all major world religions? “I much prefer history, true or feigned, with its varied applicability to the thought and experience of readers.” J.R.R.
