TO TRAVEL OR NOT TO TRAVEL?
With prom a little over a month away, many of you are probably worried about how you are going to pay for the perfect dress or rent a tux? How about the expense of getting a limo, if you choose, or eating at a fancy restaurant? Well, unfortunately the costs of prom tickets are going to add a little fuel to the fire. This year's tickets are going to be $100 per person, or $55 for one. Yes, this sounds really crazy, but the whole point of the tickets being so expensive are reasons that were supposed to save you money and give you a better prom experience. This year, prom is on April 26 at a nice place in Howell called Lake Point Manor. The theme of the night is "Catch a Falling Star." A dinner consisting of Prime Rib and Chicken will be served. There is also an All-Night juice and pop bar that is free. The Junior Class Representatives did a lot of hard work to find the perfect D.J. The D.J. is from Elite D.J. Services. He is very experienced and has preformed at several proms for schools in this area. He puts on a phenomenal light show while playing songs that everyone enjoys. Also, President's Tuxedo is giving anyone from Stockbridge a pretty generous discount off of their tux rental. $100 sounds really costly, but there are many benefits to the price this year.
