What I Have Gained From MOMS Club By Terri Crawford
I had a 2 ˝ year old and a 4 month old, and had recently quit my job, which meant quitting my career, my at-work friends, my own source of income, and my personal sense of accomplishment on the job. Stir-crazy was an understatement! After a friend introduced me to MOMS Club, I got out of the house, made new friends with other stay-at-home moms, and soon learned that my new “job” was the best I had ever had and certainly the most rewarding. The best performance review I ever got, and the greatest feeling of accomplishment, was a hug from my child and “I Love You, Mommy!” Those words meant more to me than anything a supervisor or client ever said to me. MOMS Club helped me to realize that I am lucky to be able to stay home with my kids, and in the long run I gained far more than I ever “gave up” to be at home.
Why I Joined MOMS Club By Shannon Ward
After being home for 9 months I realized that when I left my job during my pregnancy with my second child, I also left all my adult friends, my reason for getting out of the house, and a lot of my sanity. Although I enjoyed being a Stay at Home Mom I knew there had to be more to this than bottles, naps and changing diapers. After doing a search on the internet I found there were a whole group of ladies in my area just like me. I have made some terrific friends, my once shy four year now has more play dates than she can count and my 8 month old already has her first best friend. All this because I joined MOMS Club.
