We currently have around 8 regular players (not quite enough for a 5-a-side!) so we're looking for a few more players to join us. Players of all abilities are welcome. Interested?

About us
We are a group of laid back, fun loving ladies in our 20s and 30s who like to get fit whilst playing football. We play 5-a-side football every Wednesday from 6-7pm all year round. We spend approximately half an hour training and the other half playing and putting into practice all the skills we've learnt.
Jess is our captain, treasurer, organiser, etc. basically she does everything! Neil is our experienced coach who has loads of ideas to make training a lot of fun. Stockwell Wednesday Football Club was created back in 1997 and provided a regular opportunity to play football without the commitment of an 11 a-side team.
Where?
We play at Horizons Leisure Centre, Liberty Street, Stockwell, SW9 0EE - see Map - on a large 5-a-side pitch, with the latest artificial surface that's just like greengrocer's grass. We have access to showers, lockers, water fountains and changing rooms. The nearest tube stations are Stockwell and Oval on the Northern line and the number 155, 2, 88, 133, and 333 buses.
Prices
The subscription is £6 a session, or £24 for 5 sessions, or £45 for 10 sessions in advance. This is to cover the price for the pitch.
Other activities
We take part in the Elms League in Battersea, a small, 10 week, 5-a-side competition for ladies teams on Mondays from 7-8pm.
We occasionally play tounaments and friendly games with other 5-a-side ladies teams.
Social gatherings, including regular post match beers in the leisure centre's bar, Christmas parties and trips to England ladies and men's football matches.
