6-13-2002:

Well here we are. Literally years after starting we are near completion of a very long journey. Yet, our journey has just begun. Our plane will be leaving to take us to Madison who is waiting in China (with a big smile). Abby is not as out of sorts because she seen both her grandpa's and grandma's yesterday and is now under the care of Grandpa Stoltzman. She won't miss us at all.

This will be the last update to the main page here. Future updates will strictly be on the below links so expect to press a link to get information. Packing is mostly done. A short trip to the bank for a little extra spending money and then off to the airport. We will see everyone again on the 28th, but you will see Madison, Kim and I very soon on.

6-12-2002:

Kim and I are getting ready to leave for China tomorrow June 13th, 2002 to bring our daughter Madison home! As you can imagine, and as many of you feel, there is a whirlwind of emotions flowing right now. Excitement, anticipation, nervousness, curiosity, love, hope and thankfulness are but a few that I can express. My hope is to keep everyone up to date through this website as we travel to Beijing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and then home.

Please hang with me for during our first days in China. I will have to figure out how to hook my laptop and get an internet connection from our hotel rooms. I should be able to do that with little troubles but will not know until I get to China to do the updates. I will post updates time permitting with text and pictures so that everyone viewing has the most up to date information when they want to see it.

Below will be links to each day that we will be gone. I am making them ahead of time so it will be easier for me just to upload a new page right to that location. They may not work until they have some sort of content in them. Once they have content or a page to associate with them I will activate them for all to see. Until then Abby will just have to wait for Mom, Dad and baby Madison to come home!
