In Mud Bowl 14 coach Rishel earned his seventh Mud Bowl victory, as the Raiders outscored the Hickerbillies 62 - 12.  Rishel began his coaching debut with a comanding victory over the Brethren Blue team in Mud Bowl 3.  One year later his team, Brethren White (later to be known as Rishel's Raiders), again defeated the Blue team in Mud Bowl 4.  He did not return to the Mud Bowl spotlight until Mud Bowl 9 when the Raiders edged the Outlaws 16 - 8.  Four more championships in Mud Bowls 11, 12, 13, & 14 have earned coach Rishel the right to be named the winningest coach in league history.  Now, every championship team is awarded the Mud Bowl trophy which bares his name.
