rollcage

Ok her we go ive started my rollcage install this is the first time ive ever done anything like this. I thought i would save a bunch of money for other things if i did the install myself. I could buy all teh tools and do the install for cheaper then having a pro weld it in. Well my idea worked allthough it was alot harder then i thought it would be. getting the tubes notched just right for the angle they needed to be was the hardest thing. the next hardest was the over head welding with the mig welder.

One thing i didnt think about intially was how much shorter the tubes would get once they were notched

Here is the main hoop footer. This was another PITA. The Z had really no flat area for mounting the hoop

Here is the the cage about 75% done. All i have left is welding in the strut brace and making the X bar for the main hoop to rear strut connection

Here's the rear view. I need to trim it some more before final welding
