On Friday, August 4th, Mike Young of STONEHENGE begins the long task of building a stage for the performers that will show up on Saturday, August 5th.
Using his car he carts pallettes from the storage area to the stage area. |

Will be the musicians! But first a little sound equipment might be in order... Things are coming along... |
Everyone likes food! So the food tent had to be errected immediately!
The food would be arriving shortly. |
A few chairs for people to sit, out. of the sun, were added.
| |
Late at night when most of the food has been eaten, People still sit around conversing and eating the remnants.
Dave and Michelle brought a wonderful MIKESTOCK 2000 Cake! |
| |
Dave plays a set of his originals. Meanwhile Mike goes over to supervise the BonFire. |
We even had a Gymnastics display. Put on by the children. | | Melody, who is in an advanced Gymnastics course, is about to demonstrate her head stand. |
Mike and his Dad did an excellent 12 Bar Blues Set that the neighbors in the bar next door really loved. The shouting and whistling was a dead give away. | | Mike's Dad prepares to play but first he has to go check out the MIKESTOCK2000 Cake! You know, just to make sure that everything is in order...

Earlier in the day we had plenty of time for some Horseshoes! When we noticed that the hard metal stakes were beginning to get dented and scratched, we decided to invite the three year olds over to stand and watch. That way, with something soft to land on, there would be no dents or dings on any of the horeshoes.
| | The hard part was getting them to stand still. So we polyurithaned them ,to keep them straight, and nailed them to a board that was anchored into the ground.
After a while they stopped coming around, but then, there would be one curious one that just had to come on over and play. |
| Pete Plays his heart out, While Ralf sits and enjoys the show. | |
| The Sound System worked excellently all day. | While others chose to simply work while playing... |

| Richard sat and enjoyed the sun. While Ute took the time to talk freely with some of her work buddies. | |
And I enjoyed a little time on the drums...
| | Even the kids got a chance to play. Or bang... |
Stephany enjoyed the cool night air.
| | Ute and Steph Danced by the fire side...
| | |
Steph helped Ute to her seat after the ritual "Walking on the Coals" Ceremony.
| Steph kinda pushed Ute out of the picture. Ute would not be eaten this evening. Oh well.
| But, just like a wart, Ute just kept coming back..
Crashers were welcome. We set up sleeping quarters in the...
| Dining room, bath tub, closet, Driveway, stairway, kitchen sink (since there's always room for it), the kitty litter box and the oven (The cat was soundly sleeping in the microwave- that was until this Crasher disturbed him and that was when the cat got Angry! | Note, the Cat has pushed him off of his cushions and has forced him to sleep on the floor!
Mike enjoys one last meal at the local Chinese Buffet before he is forced to endure a greuling day of eating and drinking.
| The wonderful look on Ralf's face when I tell him that He is the one responsible for moving all of the equipment out of the attic (on the 3rd floor) and down onto the stage and for it's return to the attic the next day. | Needless to say, at this Chinese restaurant they do not allow Knives, or so I told him... |
But like all things, the fire had to go out some time. And here Andrew displays his advanced fireman techniques. | | While Ute and Ralph look on with sadness. |
