This is the first movie about Steve Prefontaine entitled simply "Prefontaine" and stars Jared Leto as Pre and Lee Emery as Pre's coach.  This is a little more toned down version of Pre. This was produced by Disney and is more of a documentary telling, made for TV movie. Still, it does tell Steve's story well but after watching you definitely want more.

 The second movie is titled "Without Limits" and is produced by Tom Cruise. This is the better of the two movies. Donald Sutherland gives a chilling portrayal of legendary coach, Bill Bowerman. Billy Cudrup not only looks like Steve but also does an outstanding job imitating his swagger and running style. Highly recommended.
