Pj spinner 1/2 court press
1) Papa John's Spinners 1/2 Court Press

1 in the circle, 2 and 3 on the sides of the half court.

4 is at the top of the key to protect the outside of the key, 5 is deep in the zone to protect the zone.
2) 4 and 5 should be running back and forth across their zones, depending upon the side the ball is on with the offenders.
3) Offensive players begin moving down.  Point guard still has the ball
4) Ball is passed off.

Whichever side the ball is passed to, results in a double team from whichever 2 girls are ball side.

In this example, the ball was passed to the right (defenders point of view), so the center and right side girls trap the offender at the line.

This would be reverse if the ball was passed left.
5) The girl that doesn't catch the double team drops back behind the circle, to catch any over the top pass above the key.
6) In this scenario, the offender had help and passed it back.  The extra defender comes back up to the line ready for another trap.
7) In this situation, all the players have gone through but the dribbler.
8) Dribbler is either trapped again, or if the shot is passed, the extra defender is already back behind the circle, ready to assist the 4 at the top of the key, and the 4 is ready to assist at the key or in the zone for the 5 girl.
