Beauty is Broken!

"Zechariah Chapter # 11 Verses # 7- 17

The reason that I'm writing these letters on Beauty and Bands is because they are what Solomon describes as 'Flys in the ointment," in the Book of Ecclesiastes. In just a few short verses, God takes on a lot of what Christ referred to as the, "Traditions of Men." A lot of widely held and sometimes universally accepted traditions are dashed here. So trying to keep a lot of my thoughts together and to write it all down without skipping anything or doing a lot of jumping around has been difficult. So, please bear with me.

I want to start off in verse # 10, "And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, That I might beak my covenant which I had made with all people."

Beauty, as I said in my last letter is Christ, and the whole New Testament deals with how he was broken asunder. The first thing I want to point out is that God says that "I" cut the staff. Many people want to blame the Jews or the Romans for the crucifixion when God plainly says that "I" did it. The Jews and the Romans were just the "tools" God used to bring about His plan. This is why the Book of Revelation says that the Two Witnesses tormented every one on the planet. People despise the thought of being a tool used by either God or the Devil. People like the idea of being little gods who are used by no one, and of course, accountable to no one. They like to think that their consciousness was out there somewhere floating around the galaxy calling to God for them to be created. The fact is, that before God created you, you NEVER WERE. God created you for His purpose and His pleasure as the Book of Revelation points out. You are not on some "Cosmic" treadmill that goes round and round while you run in place. Therefore, if Christ is broken, then you are accountable to God to live your life the way that He tells you is acceptable to Him. Luck and Chance are tossed out the window. Which, of course, flys in the face of gambling boats, government lotteries, and a whole host of things to numeral to mention right now.

The next letter wil talk about how Christ was broken, "That I might break my covenant with all people." Which is a link from Beauty to Bands.
