The members of clan Nosferatu are cursed with monsterous deformed bodies. Their very existence is a breach of the Masquerade as they are unable to pass as human without a great deal of effort. Many of them have mastered the Discipline of Obfuscate to allow them to pass unseen or even to change their appearance so that they can pass as human. Ugly but human.

Their appearance leads them to be shunned by most other Kindred so they gather together underground creating communities in the sewers, the catacombs and other forgotten places beneath the city. It is here, in the underground warrens that they call home, that the Nosferatu live, gathering information and secrets, hoarding them like precious stones. If anyone wants to know what is happening anywhere in a city the ones to ask are the Nosferatu but beware, information comes at a price and the clan is well aware how valuable it can be. Their mastery of the Obfuscate Discipline allows them to go where they please and  eavesdrop on almost anyone that they want Their sometimes pathetic appearance belies their true strength. If attacked on their home ground, their mastery of Potence gives them incredible strength and their use of Animalism lets them breed some very nasty ghouls.
