Remember to mark your calendar for the special Mass being offered on All Souls Day, November 2nd at 7 p.m. for our parishioners who died during the past year. Also, if anyone wishes to submit the name of a deceased person (other than a parishioner) who died during the past year, please call the parish secretary (722-6492) so that we can include the names in the program. The names must be submitted no later than Monday, October 23. Speaking of the deceased, our prayers and sympathy go to the family of Donald McCarthy who died last week. When I first met Don, I could see that he was a person who loved his family and that love was mutual. May God grant him eternal peace. Some pictures of the August Picnic are displayed in the back

of the pictures! By the way, I now have a Red Sox cap (thanks to
Dan and Carol Crimmins) and a Stanley Cup New Jersey Devils
cap (thanks to my nephew Jay). If the World Series becomes a
Subway Series Game, you will know for whom I will be cheering, and it won’t
be the Yankees. Go METS!
