Nijmegen is echt een unieke stad als je het hebt over straatverlichting. De lantaarnpalen hebben zowat allemaal dubbellampsarmaturen, sommige zelfs drielamps. E�n van de lampen ging na negenen uit in het kader van energiebesparing. Helaas gaat de stad nu niet meer verder met dit systeem. Veel van de dubbellampsarmaturen worden nu vervangen. De Philips Iridiums, TrafficVisions en Schreder Altra's rukken op in de stad. Nijmegen is a unique town if you talk about street lighting. The most lampposts have twin lamp luminaires, some even triple lamp luminaires. One of those lamps are switch of due to energy saving. It is a pity to say but the town of Nijmegen has stopped with this system. A lot of twin lamp lanterns are replaced. The Philips Iridiums, TrafficVisions and Schreder Altras are invading the city.

Lantaarnpaal met Schreder TZ armaturen. In de linker twee keer met SOX 90 watt en in de rechter twee keer SOX 55 watt. *Deze paal is januari 2007 vervangen door een mast met Philips Iridium armaturen. Lamppost with Schreder TZ lanterns. Lichtmast met twee keer een SOX lamp van 90 watt. De armaturen zijn Industria 36.966. * De armaturen zijn vervangen door Philips Iridium armaturen in januari 2007. Lantaarnpaal met een Schreder TZ armatuur met twee keer een PL-L van 18 watt. Lamppost with a Schreder TZ lantern with twice a PL-L lamp of 18 watt.

Lantaarnpaal met een Industria open armatuur. Het armatuur heeft twee keer een HPL-N lamp van 125 watt. *Deze paal is vervangen door een nieuwe mast met een Schreder Altra 3 armatuur. Lamppost with a Industria open lantern. In the luminaire there are twice a HPL-N lamp of 125 watt. *This post is replaced by a new column with a Schreder Altra 3 lantern.

Zweepmast met een AEG Kleine Koffer met daarin twee keer een HPL-N lamp van 125 watt. Hurling shaped column with an AEG Kleine Koffer with twice a HPL-N lamp of 125 watt.

Lantaarnpaal met een Industria armatuur waarvan ik de naam niet weet. Het armatuur heeft drie keer een TL-S van 20 watt. Lamppost with an Industria lantern. I do not know the name of it. In the luminaire there are three fluorescent tubes (TL-S) of 20 watt.

Lantaarnpaal met een Vigh NATB open armatuur. In het armatuur zitten twee SOX lampen van 35 watt. Lamppost with a Vigh NATB open lantern. The lantern have two SOX lamps of 35 watt.

Lantaarnpaal met een Industria open armatuur, hetzelfde model als met de HPL-N lampen alleen wat langer. In deze zitten twee SOX lampen van 35 watt. Lamppost with an Industria open lantern, the same model as the one with the two HPL-N bulbs but a longer size of it. In this one are two SOX lamps of 35 watt.

Nijmegen had vroeger trolleybussen maar met dat systeem zijn ze eind jaren 60 mee gestopt. Alleen de palen van de bovenleidingen kan je nog vinden met armaturen. De drie grote palen hebben allemaal VIGH FDT 3 armaturen (drie keer TL-M 40 watt en de kleine paal heeft een Industria armatuur (drie keer TL-S 20 watt). *Helaas zijn al deze masten vervangen door nieuwe palen met Schréder Altra 3 armaturen ergens in 2006, weer een stukje Trolleybusgeschiedenis minder in Nijmegen In the past Nijmegen had the trolleybus system but they stopped with that system and the end of the 60ties. Only the poles of the overhead lines are left. The three big posts have all VIGH FDT 3 lanterns (with triple fluorescent tubes of 40 watt TL-M) and the small post have an Industria lantern (twice a fluorescent tubes of 20 watt TL-S) *It is a pity but all these posts are replaced by new columns with Schreder Altra 3 lanterns somewhere in 2006.

Lantaarnpaal met Industria armaturen waarvan ik de naam/nummer niet weet. Dit zijn dezelfde modellen als die met de SOX lampen alleen wat korter. Deze armaturen hebben twee HPL-N lampen van 125 watt. Op de achtergrond ziet u paal met een van de oprukkende Iridium armaturen. *Deze mast is ergens in 2006 vervangen door een nieuwe met Philips Iridium armaturen Lamppost with Industria lanterns. They are of the same model of the one with the SOX lamps but of shorter size. I do not know the name/number of this model. In this lanterns are two HPL-N lamps of 125 watt. On the back ground you see one of the Iridium invaders ;-) *Somewhere in 2006 this post is replaced by a new one with Philips Iridium lantern
