Welcome to The Disappearing One's Bootleg Page

RULES

No one likes a cheater. Bootleg trading is supposed to be fun but involves a lot of trust. Now, some rules I guess should apply.

1. If you contact me, you send first. I hate being screwed, and I'm sure you would feel the same. Just ask my referrals and you'll see I'm a great trader. In fact, I add to the tape/CD to give you more.

2. For tapes, I use Maxell XLII tapes, or different length (depends on boot). I suggest you use the same. I hate Sony and THX. For CDs, I use Kodak CD-R Gold. I'll take any CD-R media except Sanyo and Hewlett-Packard (they make printers, not CDRs). Unless stated, I have no artwork for the CD. If you are a good, respected trader, I might be generous and make you a cute cover.

3. For shipping, you pay to me, I pay to you. Simple enough.

4. I will do 2 for 1 trades. If you are a newbie, 2:1's go generally like this. You like a boot that I have. You send 2 tapes, CDs or whatever you want the boot recorded on. I record the boot on one tape, cd and ship it to you, and keep the other for my troubles. Its a fair, good way to start your collection. That's really how I started, and look at me now!

5. If you have a cool boot that I want, and you don't want anything from me, I have all my music collection in MS Office Excel 97.

6. I do not dub CD to tape anymore. If you want a 2:1 trade, and the concert is on CD, I would expect 2 CDs, not 2 tapes. Sorry, but I just don't have as much time as I used to.

7. Oh sweet, jesus, I cannot clarify this any further. DO NOT SEND MAXElL CD-R AUDIOS. They can only be burnt on a stereo component CD burner. I have no idea these existed commercially, but if you could find something my computer CD-Burner could work, I'll accept it. I had to turn down a couple trades due to this, and I feel I should NOW tell you about this. :)
