Skah is a proud wolf, once an Alpha he holds his form with pride and dominance. Although he has a dominant nature he knows when to give in to others and when to force himself. He is a naturally friendly wolf, greeting everyone he meets with a friendly but reserved demeanor. He can be a great friend or an even greater enemy.
History
- It was a cloudy night sky that watched as Skah was born, however the moon persistently shone through the clouds when it could. Skah had no siblings he knew of, the sole sibling of unknown parents as far as he was concerned. He was raised by the whole pack since he was an only child and didn’t take up much food or water. He was nursed by a wolf that had bore stillborns so she had plenty of milk to spare. Skah grew up, knowing only this pack, the Clearcreek pack, named for the crystal clear creek that ran through their clearing. At some point he was allowed to venture to other packs, at first only with other wolves but soon on his own. He did this frequently, usually keeping connections up with the packs that were rather far and the older wolves had trouble getting to.
It was during one of these outtings that he met Roana, a hybrid wolf, who had been accepted into a sister pack of the Clearcreek. She was part Husky, part arctic wolf, creating a lovely and eyecatching beauty.  They became fast friends, often seen together just walking and venturing from pack to pack, nearly inseparable. After a while they became courts
and then finally mates, soon after becoming mates they took on the role of Alpha of the Clearcreeks after Skah’s Alphas died. There was no dispute, they just slipped into the role, and the pack thrived nicely, keeping up connections with the other pack still. Skah often ventured off to the other packs when members would complain they were too old or too hungry or other such reasons. It was at this point that he and Roana noticed a laziness settle over their pack,
an unwillingness to contribute but a demand that they be taken care of. Skah was disgusted by this but Roana convinced him to wait it out, that things would change and they would be alright. However Skah saw no change, even after many summers, the members still wouldn’t hunt, wouldn’t contribute but would complain when their needs weren’t met. This caused a rift between the two
mates, Roana didn’t mind that they did all the hunting, it was good exercise for them and at least they weren’t letting their pack mates die, however Skah got tired of carrying the pack, of working for them for their needs and then listening to their complaints. Many of the connections they had with the other packs around them weakened, they stopped visiting the Clearcreeks, also tired of hearing the members complain and whine, and beg to be taken care of. Although some of the packs would contribute, hunting for them when Roana and Skah couldn’t and leaving the kills in their cache. One day after a huge fight with Roana he walked off, their
mate-ship dissolved at that instance, he went far away from the pack, feeling if they didn’t want to help with their survival on their own then he would force them to by refusing to hunt any more. He ventured away, perhaps looking for a new pack perhaps just letting them stew for a while.
One day he came upon a mountain that was inhabited by three lone wolves who shared a clearing, the one he met made it clear that they were not a pack just lone wolves that found comfort in each others presence. Their scents were familiar but Skah couldn’t place why, he decided it was just a trick his mind was playing on him, a longing for wolves he knew he’d never see again. While he was resting on this mountain an old wolf he knew showed up to find where he went. It was Roana, he was glad she came for him, he felt a pang of guilt at how they departed but glad none the less. She had come to tell him that their pack was no more; the wolves ventured off into the other packs or died of starvation or other reasons. This news saddened him but he also knew there was nothing else he could do, a pack where only two were hunting wouldn’t survive long, other packs would want their territory and a war would have brewed. While lying with Roana in the clearing a wolf ventured in, she seemed to know the inhabitants of the clearing but he was still cautious. They got to talking and he learned her name was Illumina`, she was the lead huntress of a pack called the NightHunters, he learned that the Alpha was Shoga. Illumina` told him to visit if he cared for a pack instead of staying a lone wolf. The next day, Shoga came to visit the clearing, and see him as Illumina` told her of the wolf she met. Shoga also invited him to visit the pack and perhaps join if he felt he wanted to. After speaking with her again he decided to visit, he ventured over there however when he did he didn’t see Shoga around, soon learning that she was off but would be back later. He met Silverpaws, the one who informed him of this, Beta to another pack but visiting this one since she knew the members. Skah also met Reika` and Gin-Gin, guardians of the pack. After spending sometime there he felt this would be a good home for him and when asked at a meeting if he still wanted  to join he accepted. He now resides with the NightHunters pack.
