History - Illumina was born in the middle of an Alaskan clearing, under the watch of the guiding stars. She was in no pack, except for her siblings and parents. When she was about 2 years old, her mother told her and her siblings to venture forth, and find a place in the world. Firekeeper left first, vowing to become head of a pack someday. Her sister Zorana, meek and timid, wanted to stay with her parents. When Illuminaand Kiri refused to leave, their father used force to drive them away. After a few months of traveling together, the two sisters came upon a vast ice river. They
were discouraged to cross, and wanted to turn back. But before they could, a bone
tingling noise arose from the treetops. It was a howl from a lone wolf, and they were certain it was nearby. They made up there minds to cross the ice river, and they did so in a single leap. Unfortunately, Kiri dropped in mid-leap, and fell into the river. Scared and now alone, Illumina traveled on until she met a pack that went by the name of the NightDwellers. She pledged herself to that pack, finding many members friendly. Soon, she was accepted and became the pack's Omega. Many years passed, and Illumina began to feel that the NightDwellers pack was not her rightful home. Saying her goodbyes, she took her leave and traveled for many
months until one night, she met another wolf while hunting. This wolf was Shoga, a
female wolfess who just left her pack, the WolfSpirits, and was reforming her own.
Interested and feeling a yearning to be part of a family, Illumina banded with the wolves Shoga and Gin to revive the NightHunters. Immediatly, after seeing her skills as a Hunter, Shoga made Illumina the pack's Lead Huntress. Many days afterward, Illumina met a wolf she instantly fell for, his name was Star`Chaser. At a meeting, the two became courts. Illumina now knows her decision to leave her old pack was right; This was her true home.
