In Loving Memory
God has blessed me so much over the years with so many beautiful and precious rabbits, I feel the need to dedicate a page to those lionheads who have passed. These rabbits aren't just livestock that sit in a cage, but are huge parts of our family, and will always be loved. I look forward to the day when I see them again in Heaven. I want to thank my mother who is a retired RN, for her dedication and help in trying to save those rabbits who were about to pass.
"If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I would walk up to Heaven, and bring you home again"
On March 30, 2007, my beloved Indigo had a major stroke causing him to be euthanized on April 2. This is a loss that hits hard for me because he had fathered over 100 kits for me, and produced many show winners for my customers and myself. The hardest part though, was my deep attachment and love for this precious rabbit. In his final days, he gave us kisses every opportunity he had. This is something he had never done in his entire life. It was as if he was saying his last goodbyes and showing us he loved us in return. He will be deeply missed, never forgotten, and forever loved.

I am at a loss for words with the passing of Princess Diana. Her death was an absolute shock, and is heartbreaking. She will be remembered as one of the most loving mothers to ever live here at Streamside Bunnies. As you see in the picture, she loved her babies, and was always so dedicated to them. Often times I would catch kits lying on her back, and she never would mind. She was always so sweet also, and love being held. She was a big reason for the successful BEW sport program I had for so many years. I will always cherish the time I had with her, and will always love this precious rabbit.
