Update From Rosa Blasi!!!!
Rosa Blasi sends this message to all Strong Medicine fans.
Greetings and update from Rosa!
Hello everyone!!! I realize my screen name is slightly different, please bear with me...it seems I have tricked myself into forgetting my own password! I tried every combination I could think of and failed miserably.

Anyway, I am writing you from Japan. I am here in Tokyo, shooting a movie called "The Grudge". I literally left Maui the Wednesday after my wedding, and Jim and I came straight here. He left after about a week to tend to our dogs and I am here until March 5th. I am really excited to be doing this project. It is a horror/drama film that was successful here in Japan. They decided to re-make it, and release it in American using the same director and location but an American cast. Bill Pullman plays my husband, and the film also stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jason Behr, and Clea Duvall. The cast couldn't be nicer if they tried. I am so lucky to be working with such a great group and soooooo cool to hang with. The film will be released around Halloween time (I think).

Speaking of coming straight from the wedding, thank you for all your kind messages on this board. It was such a great time in Maui!!! I am still high off the memories (despite the fact that I went to see the Doctors on my wedding morning to make sure I didn't have Streph throat...nice huh?) Patricia Richardson, Josh Cox, Jenifer Lewis all made the trip to Hawaii! As well as Tammy Ader (exec. producer),John Flynn (director/producer) Joe DeOliveria (producer), Jim Weiss, costumers, hairdressers, and makeup artists! It was a strong, "strong medicine" turnout. It was really funny to look around and see the creative side (my friends)meets the sports world (Jims friends).

We go back to work mid April with many MANY suprises ahead. Such suprises in fact, that I really don't know what they are! You would be amazed how little I know. Is that a redundant statement or what?!? Well, I hope you feel updated and I look forward to having more new for you another time. Konichiwa!!!!

Love,
Rosa

In memory of Richard Biggs
It is a very somber day here on the set of Strong Medicine. I can't believe you all have heard so fast! You are all amazing.
I am asking that everyone take a moment to send positive energy (or prayer if you are religious), to Richards children (boys ages 2 and 4), and his wife. We do not know many details but know it was sudden, unexpected and most likely a random sudden heart attack.
He couldn't have been in better shape or health, and we all just worked with him on Thursday. Whenever there are several cast members in a scene together, it's non stop talk and laughter. I always feel sorry for the director because we can't shut up. Last Thursday was no different. Laughter, talk of everything from heart attacks (how ironic is that?!?), to politics (Pat, Richard and I are all huge Kerry supporters), to even what we speculate happens in prison. Richard was a SWEETHEART of a man, very educated, and very talented and professional. He also had that rich amazing voice like a radio announcer I always thought.

Just make sure you give someone you love an extra hug because we always hear it, but it is easy to forget..
YOU NEVER KNOW
WHEN IT WILL BE
THE LAST TIME YOU SHARE WITH SOMEOME.
Love,
Rosa

100 episodes!!!!!!!!!!
We cut the cake today on set and had a celebration for reaching our 100 episodes this afternoon. There were toasts, champagne, Lifetime executives, Sony execs, Whoopi called in on speaker phone, and our gift from Lifetime President Carole Black was her announcement :
WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A SEASON 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was so cool, and I feel tremendously proud of the show. Not to mention the 100th episode is going to be GREAT. Guest stars Cameryn Manheim, Sara Gilbert, and Fran Drescher make for a really special show.

Thanks to you all again for your support and communtiy, and for letting me know, usually, when I am going to be on TV or there is an article about me somewhere. I swear this is like the information booth these boards!
Take care and "talk to you soon"
Love,
Rosa
