ERIC T's 1979 Stepside.

I purchased the truck about three years ago When I was 16, I am almost 19 now. The truck came to me for $500 with no engine or tranny, but was well cared for. I am in school down in Clearfield, Utah in an Aamco Trasmissions program. The truck is stored in a garage in Seattle 11 months out of the year.

It has a 350ci small block with forged pistons and crank in it. An Edelbrock performer intake, Hedmen headers, and a Holley 650 single pumper carb (estimated by others to put out Approximately 350HP). Since the motor was donated to the cause, I Cleaned it up and painted it. The next thing on the list is a complete rebuild and Aluminum 202 heads. I recently replaced much of the 26 year old wiring under the hood and wired up a 5" inch Autometer Comp Tach, and am still in need of a matchin speedometer and fuel guage to go with all of the other aftermarket guages.

It has a 100 watt amp to power the 6X9 that replaces the factory speaker in the center of the dash, and the two 1" tweeters in the top of the A pillars are powered by the head unit.

I plan on Lowering, not dropping the truck. Most people think it should hug the road, I just want a nice stance. I had to change the direction of the build from being an daily driver to just a sunday Muscle-Truck because of the gas prices and the poor weather in seattle.

Future plans include a Louvered hood and some Rally Wheels to give it the final touch.
