Summet a.k.a. "What the Hell is With Your Face?", "Primary Bringer of Jesse II's Mental Anguish" Motto:"If it ain't broke, break it." Common cover-ups: "There's nothing wrong with MY face!" |
|||||||
I finally made a picture file of Summet, so I've put it here for all your viewing "pleasure". (P.S. Justin- since you've taken some drawing classes now, I implore you to draw an updated drawing of Summet, like you did with that Diablo-like, children-eating visage on the cat-peed-on white board in the basement) | |||||||
Summet is Justin's character. The picture is finally up, so I don't have to use my feeble command of words as a substitute to try to describe him. A shame, that. I'll do it anyway, because I can: He's UGLY. That just about does it, basically. Being the joke of all orks for having only one tusk must be tough, and it's a pain Summet has had to live with for all of his wart-encrusted life. Add that to the fact that he continuously has an odd blue CD cover looming behind him (the drawing is essential to understand what I mean, and can be located here), and you might begin to understand why he doesn't have a very active social life. I think the brief collection of thoughts on Justin's "questions" page of his character sheet sums up Summet's appearance quite nicely: "husky, threatening, large jaw, large scar across face, sinewy, many scars." I especially like the "sinewy" part. For some reason, when I read that just now, I burst out laughing for about 20 seconds. It was just such an appropriate descriptor. Summet's existance came about when Justin realized that his previous character, RockJaw Grang, was about as intelligent as the combat axe he carried, and decided that he might have to create a somewhat more subtle character. I assume. I have yet to determine whether or not he was successful. Some similarities I HAVE noticed between Summet and RockJaw: 1.) Both of them carry a Franchi SPAS-22 automatic combat shotgun 2.) Summet seeks to obtain an underbarrel grenade launcher for said shotgun, much as RockJaw did 3.) Both of them possess the same personality Not that I'm implying anything, of course. Summet has recently discovered an amazing way to get people to trust, admire, respect, and not recoil in horror from him. During any meetings with potential employers, he slips into, among other things, "I'm not associated with these two"-mode (or, for that matter, "I hate all of you! Including you, you stupid 'person' with your 'money' and 'way for me to earn a living'"-mode or "My silence and suspicious and/or threatening glaring-ats prove my abilities"-mode [both of which I'd like to get into later]). I can only assume that he's getting the results he's looking for. (After a minute of thinking, my common sense kicked in, finally -- I've been waiting for years -- telling me that I should probably stop with these comments about this particular player's character, lest the player become infuriated and crush me into a cube without the implied medium of the cube-crushing-into machine.) |
