Judith Jefferson has gotten a bad reputation over the years -- she loves bad jokes, practical jokes, and obnoxious puns, and she's never been shy about inflicting her passion on the world around her. After years of torturing her family and classmates with awful riddles and shaggy-dog stories, her comic hobbies finally caught up to her in college, when a particularly complex prank (involving 200 pounds of igneous rock, gunpowder, a particle accellerator, superglue, and a whoopie cushion) backfired on her.
But instead of killing her, the practical-joke-turned-fiery-chemical-accident ended up giving Judith invulnerability, superstrength, and the ability to summon carbon and silicon out of the air itself when she attacks someone -- in other words, she can hit people with big rocks. Immediately seeing the chance to score a few laughs at the expense of Paragon City's villain population, Judith began patrolling the city as Punchin' Judy, fighting for truth, justice, and making bad guys fall down in entertaining ways.
Judith recently had a dream come true for her -- she was asked to join a supergroup in Hawaii! The Honolulu Howlers were already considered a bit of an anarchic group, so Judith fits in just fine. She's also doing a little low-key research into the Banished Pantheon for some friends in Paragon -- the appearance of some of the Totems suggest a possible Pacific Ocean origin for the magical monsters...
