High Game:  300

High Series:  793

300's:  1

Are you a native Texan?  Yes

Left Handed or Right Handed:   Right

What equipment do you throw?  Storm or Columbia

What is your favorite all-time bowling ball?   Columbia's Pearl Tour Boss

What female bowler(s) do you admire the most and why?  Leanne Barrette is one of my favorites (and not because of the name similarity). In my opinion, she has one of the most powerful games of the women on tour. I enjoyed watching her when I was still in the junior ranks and hoped that I could throw the ball as well as she did.

What female bowler(s) from Texas do you admire the most and why?  There are so many great female bowlers from Texas, it is difficult to choose just one or even a few. But, Mary Betke and Debbye Berry would have to be two that I admire. Their accomplishments speak for themselves and, growing up in Fort Worth, Mary and Debbye were the names I heard of the most. Lea Anne is shown at right with fellow Fort Worth bowler and friend Cathy Nelson.

Describe your most memorable bowling experience(s): My most memorable bowling experience would have to be winning my first PWBA Regional title in December 1998 in the Southwest Ladies and Seniors Classic. Not only was it memorable due to the fact it was my first title, but I won it with the help of my best friend and mentor Dave Brady. We both bowled well that weekend and moved up the ladder on Sunday. Going into the last match, we had finally reached the lead in the tournament and had to bowl against Dianne Parrish and John Handegard for the title. We were ahead by 52 pins starting the match and needed every bit of it as I only shot a 160 game (on the same pair where, just one game earlier, I had shot 259). But with some good luck on our side and clutch shots by Dave, we held on to win the tournament by two pins.

What is the funniest or most embarassing thing in bowling you have ever seen or experienced? An embarrassing moment for me would be in the same tournament. It was bowling the 160 game in the final match on the same pair I had just shot 259. It probably was not so much embarassing as it was disappointing. But, most of my embarassing moments were/are a result of my tendency to allow my temper to get the best of me at times. This aspect has improved considerably since my younger days, and I can see the improvements in my game as a result of it.
