More flower-presents I have received. (:
This is the bouquet the 1-1 students at Dai Ni got for me on my last day in their class... how sweet!  They all chipped in and bought it for me.  It was a really beautiful bouquet!  Thank you so much!
And this is the 'farewell/thank you' bouquet I received the next day from the entire school.  One of the students handed it to me during the 'farewell' assembly they had for me.  I got pretty choked up... another student recited a speech he had prepared--in Japanese, but I understood enough of it to get teary-eyed... They were a really great bunch of kids, and of course, 'I will never forget you!'
This is the beautiful bouquet that was given to me when I left Oohira--again, on my last day, at a 'farewell' assembly.  Or, well... that was the plan!  The assembly was in the morning, but the flowers hadn't arrived by the time we started.... or by the time the student was supposed to give them to me... or even just after the assembly!  I got them a few hours later, just before I left for home.  Oh well. (:  Again, I got real choked up at the assembly... A girl wrote a speech for me, in English this time.  "When I first saw you," she said, "I thought you were very cute... but I found out that you were a very good teacher."  She wants to study in America someday, so we will meet again, she said. (:  I sure hope so... that would be really fantastic--to see any of them again. (:
