My Friends and Loved Ones

I thought I'd share some pictures of my friends, family, and other loved ones. (:

So here's the majority of "the gang." Arnel (Misha's new hubby) wasn't able to join us this day. ):  This was my last day in the States--and my friends indulged with me on a trip to the Ren Fest. (:  It was really great to be able to hang out with everyone before I had to go so far away. ): But here, we've got (L to R) Dan and Becca, Misha, Stephanine, Sarah (above my head!) and Jeremy. <3

And here's me and my two bestest buddies, Becca and Misha. (:  This was right after Misha and Arnel came back from teaching in Japan for a year.  They were both around the Hiroshima area and had a blast!  Soon after this, I was taking off to visit Jeremy in a few days, then on to Japan, myself.  So we got together at Bob Evan's one morning for breakfast, with Vicki and Jesse, and Arnel too!

Marisha and Arnel are now expecting a little girl in June!!  Congratulations!!

After our day at the 'Fest, my mom and dad invited my friends and their parents over to our house for a farewell party. (:  That's my mom's face in the back, between Misha's parents (Mary and Jorge), then Cindy (in the red) and her husband Tom, then Mike and Vicki (Becca's parents) and finally my dad, with the 'peace sign' up front. (: We 'kids' had to eat on the floor in the living room!  The 'adults' got to eat at the table! (:

And THIS is JUST ABOUT the whole gang from JCMU.  We went to Kyoto one weekend, and a ton of us wanted to see "Monkey Mountain"!  So here we are!  And a couple monkeys, too!  I do believe this was right before the 'incident'--where a crazy monkey jumped into the group, launching himself off of Eric's shoulder (he's in front, near me, wearing a dark shirt, shorts, and holding a camera).  It was kinda funny!  But it freaked us all out. (:  Eric had dirty monkey paw prints on his back as evidence of the attack. (:  But it makes for good story-telling.
