Gone Hanami-ing, again! |

This time, Kazuyo took me to Mishima, where we visited the largest shrine there. She goes there every year to see the cherry trees, she told me. And they had a really lovely display of them! |

Mishima Taisha (Mishima 'big shrine') is a shinto shrine, so no Buddha statues here. (; There were a few booths set up selling festival snacks. Yum. It was a really clean and beautiful day, but it kind of made it hard for pictures sometimes. Oh well!
The trees were really beautiful. And it wasn't all that crowded, so we got to enjoy them. It looked kind of like light-pink snow...
After wandering around that afternoon, we found a little cafe for dinner, then came back to the shrine to see all the trees lit up. Check that out on the next page! |
