Pierre Morpain, l'un de dix enfants de Jacque Morpain et sa femme Marguerite Audoire naquit à Blaye le 12 février 1686, une année après la naissance de son futur beau-frère, Bernard-Anselme d'Abadie, mais il vivrait quinze annees de plus qu'Anselme, bien qu'il n'eut aucun descendant (ses freres Jacque et Alexis allerent aussi aux Ameriques), quand Anselme eut quatre enfants. Quant à ses filles, elles epouseraient des Meunier, Leborgne, Mius de Latour et Damours de la Fresneuse. Il y aurait aussi les batailles de 1707 quand Subercase et Vaudreuil a Quebec demanderaientt a son fils Anselme de les aider dans les batailles contre les Britanniques, et qui lui meriterait des terres donnees par Louis XIV et en 1715 ses Lettres de noblesses de Louis XV pour les États du Bearn Merci, DANIELLE
