This might take a while to load, but I promise, it's worth it! We spent much of our time in County Kerry biking the Dingle Peninsula, which was one of my favorite places...
This is the beach at a camping site we stayed at in Castlegregory.
A typical view of the mountains, biking from Castlegregory to Ballyferrier. The little white dots, if you can make them out, are sheep.
Here is a shot of a beach the next day biking from Ballyferrier to Killorglin. One of the best things about biking was that we could stop whenever we wanted, pull over, and hang out on the beach for a while, then keep going.
This gives a view of the road we had just come up on. The view out onto the water was amazing.
This is me after biking uphill forever, finally on top of some mountain. The stuff on my bike is everything we carried--clothes (in panniers), sleeping bag, tent, backpack, and handlebar bag.
At the top of the aforementioned mountain this man was sitting with his dog, playing songs on his accordian.
Okay...this is a bunch of us sleeping. I guess biking was pretty taxing, and we would sleep anywhere--including city sidewalks. As we were always the freak show wherever we went, sleeping on sidewalks really wasn't a big deal--I found I lost my self-consciousness pretty quickly in that country.
