Chinese Chopsticks Workshop
In this workshop led by Xian Wang, pupils were introduced
to Chinese greetings and shown how to write some of the characters. The art
of using chopsticks was then demonstrated to the group and mastered with varying
degrees of competence. Success was achieved by many as they retrieved marbles
from bowls of water with their chopsticks! The questions which pupils asked
indicated a true interest in the culture and language(s) of China.
