Kyokushinkai Karate

We were very pleased to welcome from Bristol Allan Harris who introduced
pupils to the martial art of Kyokushinkai Karate. This workshop was very popular. Kyokushinkai means "The Way of the Ultimate Truth". It was founded in 1923 by Masutatsu Oyama who devoted his life to spreading the knowledge of karate. The first Kyokushinkai Karate club was set up in London in 1965 and clubs rapidly spread throughout the country. Allan Harris runs a club in Bristol and we are indebted to him and his colleague for giving our pupils such an enjoyable and worthwhile experience and insight into the Japanese culture.
