| Hi everyone! Long time since I've written anything... well what can I say? I've been busy! Easter Island was brilliant! Such a special place... no where else like it... apart from the mind blowing amazing Moai statues the Island had such a nice laid back atmosphere... we had a great 2 weeks - dare I use the word 'holiday', didnt have to pack our bags once in that time, or get a bus, plane, taxi, boat.... well we did hire our own 4by4 and go tearing around the island... great off roading... well the island only has two tarmaced roads! Our nightmare journey is also over.... the Easter Island to New Zealand phase...... bleedin' hell... 4 days, 4 flights.... last one 13 hours... nasty. My vision is still blurred from it all! But already in love with New Zealand.... can't believe we got on the flight with the actor that played Golum.. what a start! Kind if sad leaving south america though.... really enjoyed it... amazing part of the world.... but I am enjoying speaking my own language again... AHHHHH... makes shopping so much easier... Picking up the campervan in 2 days... cant wait! we're just planning our route around the two islands now... so much to see and do! And plenty of adrenaline aports for me to break my bones trying... JOKING - I'll be careful! Will try and enter more over the next few weeks... hope you all had a great crimbo and new year... love from the other side of the planet! xx |

| Hello Strangers!!!! So i'm in New Zealand and having a great time. Stu is diving at the moment so i have some peace and quiet. mmmmmmmmmmmmm nice.. Missing South America, all a bit easy out here, but the camper van is fun (if not a little cramped, not killed him yet, so doing well). I need a desperate favour from anyone who reads this and cares about me communicating with them.....I left my address book in Easter Island, and have therefore lost addresses, emails and birthdays. I need them so if you know me and have received, or would like to receive a postcard please please please email me using the link on the title web page with all your info. This includes Stu's friends as I'm the one who reminds him about birthdays etc.... This especially goes out to (i need postcodes & birthdays aswell) Cassy and Mike Karl and Yvette Same (yourself and peeps from work spec vanessa) Rachael (boopadelic) Pauline and Dave And any others who i cant rem' right now. Had a great interaction the first night in the camper with a young Kiwi (11 years old) Stu and I were on the beach looking at the moon and Mackensie (if that's how you spell it) came over.... "cun i seet wid ya" Stu "uhhh why" "i'm hidin frem me maytes, thinkin theyell niver find me wid ya as they'll think were all tegether" Stu "ooookkkk!!!" MACKENSIE THEN SKIPS OFF LOOKING FOR HIS SEEKERS 10 MINS LATER HE RETURNS me "did they find you then" "Who" Stu "the guys who were lookin for you" "Oh!, nah i went to find em and they were in bed asleep, so i came back to hang out with yous, Wadda yous wanna do" Stu "errrrrr, (whispers) help!!!" So we hung out with Mackensie until he got bored with us, bless him, think he was a bit of a loner. Had a great accent though. |
