Hey up!!!

Well I've spent so much time and money just putting up some new pictures I'm too computered out to write much...

Well, pasted the halfway point, quite and emotional time really... Really proud that we've made it so far, a little daunted that we have the same time to go again... and really excited that we have the same time to go again!

Can't quite believe the NZ is nearly over.... but had some amazing times - as always, I know - oh while a remember - did I tell you about the 180feet free fall bungee jump I did! Oh yes. What a beauty. Sorry Mam and Dad. New Zealand has been such a mixed bag - a little 'normal' and boring at times, terrible weather at time... utterly amazing at times... but all in all I'd say it was pretty GREAT! And we've still got dolphine swimming to go!

We're just hanging out taking it easy at a nice little place at the mo, prabably just going to do a spot of drinking in some pubs for a few days..... now you may not believe this - but we hardly EVER drink out in pubs. It's true I cry. It's simple maths - buy 2 beers in a pub, or, for the same price, drink 6 beers back in The Van.

Simple really.

A part from this: spending 9 weeks in a tiny bed is quite simply not humain.

The Van.

Don't get me started.

So spending a few nights drinking in a pub and not inside a small tin chamber not big enough to swing a Kiwi around... simple.

We're planning to stay in a lot of 'youth' hostels in Australia so hopefully alot more enteries and pictures for you enjoyment...

Talking about Hostels - have you seen the movie??? BLEEDING HELL. That was a bit nasty wasn't it? GREAT.

Anyway, hope all is well back home.....

xx
G'DAY

Yes Yes I've been very slack with the old updates but blah blah blahcomplicated blah blah blahbad internet cafesblah blah blah.

We finished NZ by swimming with Dolphins, which was ace, a real strange experience, it wasn't a "Disneyland dolphins" where they  can count and you're in a pool. These were wild sea Dolphins.  You go on a boat that finds the pod (around 300 of 'em) and you jump off the boat and snorkel, they ask you to sing and entertain them otherwise they just get back to what they were doing.  Stu had lots of interaction as he can swim better than me and dived down and did all this acrobatic stuff, my swimming skills replicate an injured guppy so i sang "under the Sea" thinking it would be a dolphins song of choice and they did swim up to me prob' wondering why a 29 year old woman still knows all the words to a Little Mermaid song.

We're NOW in Australia, Sydney in fact, and it's soooooo good here.  Sydney is a stonking city and at last the weather is good, (well apart from the cyclone at the top of Australia and a bit of rain) but better than NZ.

We had the best arrival in Sydney as our friend Ju and her baby Louis picked us up from the airport, which beats an old Mexican man with Gold teeth, and we stayed with her, Matt and Louis for 6 days.  (GOD BLESS EM, STU STILL FINDS IT HARD TO PUT UP WITH ME FOR A FEW DAYS AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!!!!)  It was nice to be living in a house instead of a van/hostel for a change.

We have done lots of touristy things, seen the Opera House (actually cream not white as it looks like in all the photos.)  And one night we drank champers and watched the sunset from the opera house and Harbour Bridge.  Very cool and not backpacker like but our accomodation was free so we splashed out.
I texted my dad
"drinking champers looking at the Opera House and Harbour Bridge"
He replied back.....
"
On M6 looking at Eddie Stobart"
So life aint so bad for me i suppose.

Then 2 days ago we climbed the Harbour Bridge which was great, fabulous views of the city and pretty blinkin high.  we've just hired a car and now have to decide where to next, although i could stay in Sydney forever, beaches, great shopping, cgood weather and cheap food.  We ate Thai food the other day in a restaurant and it cost 5 quid for two mains with rice.....GET IN.... you cant get better than that!!!!!

A few messages.......
Congrats Emma Andy Eva and Rosa on your new addition Francesca (is that spelt right?)  Hope all are well.

My Niece hit 1 this month so happy birthday Elysia along with Joan, Mandy (they aren't one, but as a woman I refuse to publish there ages!) and Saul "the destroyer" hit the grand old age of 2.

Would like to see the Melbourne Grand Prix, but v.expensive, if by any chance someone would like to wire me the money for 2 tickets (vip ones only) so i can give my regards to the drivers especially Mr Villeneuve and scream insults at MSCH (i refuse to type his name)  it would be much appreciated.
We didn't go to the Australian Games (cant be called commonwealth as they won every bleedin medal) but they have the best bias sports reporters i've ever seen/heard.

So i'll love and leave, will affix some piccies soon ( well Stu will!)
LOL TTFN
