What is enviro-cashback?
BP Solar enviro-cashback is a cashback offer paid to end users who install solar electric systems using BP Solar modules in Australia.

It is a combination of a manufacturers rebate paid by BP Solar, and a payment for the value of the emissions savings (called Renewable Energy Certificates or R.E.C's) from your solar electric system, based on the first 5 years of its expected output.  BP Solar's enviro-cashback offer of A$0.50c/Watt pays you well above the market price for your REC's.
How much will it save me?
Enviro-cashback will save you around $750 off the cost of a typical BP Solar electric system* and the larger the system, the larger the enviro-cashback.  This represents a saving of up to 4% off a typical system.  Even better, the offer applies to systems from 80 to 10,000 Watts, no matter what the application is.
Your enviro-cashback is only the start of your savings.  A typical solar electric system not only adds great long term value to your home, but can also save you around 50-75% off the average electricity bill**.  As electricity costs continue to rise so will your savings; imagine watching your electricity meter spin backwards!
And of course, your enviro-cashback is in addition to any State or Federal Government rebates which you may be eligible for, such as the Photovoltaic Rebate Program (PVRP), making it one of the most economic ways to get plugged in to the sun today.
Enviro-cashback + Government Rebates + Added Value to your Home = Economical Solar Electricity!

* a typical BP Solar system is defined as a 1.5kW Solar Energizer Kit
** an average electricity bill is based on an average consumption of 14kWhs/day
