scott & judi's wedding

on to the ceremony!
i hope these pictures do the garden justice. now you can see why we so wanted to have the ceremony here! the cross, alter and benches are local quincy granite; and permanent structures in the garden.
initially, i wanted off-white mums for the alter, but am glad that we finally decided on the bergundy. it really made the alter look extra special.
this is scott's mom and our friend & groomsman alan. scott's dad is walking behind them.
this is judi's mom and our friend ted. someof you may remember that my mom wanted to add sleeves to a dress...? well she DID and it turned out great!
here are the 4 girls! my friend kara, whom i met at northeastern university, my cousin diane, my friend ellissa and another NU friend, christine. christine was my mistress of ceremonies and worked really hard behind the scenes to make the day run smoothly.
here is kara walking down the aisle. i was very happy with how the flowers turned out! very colorful and fall-like but chipper and bright, too!
here is my cousin diane walking down the aisle.
here is my matron of honor, ellissa. she was all smiles!
the garden is laid out such that the alter section is in the rear. one has to walk through the garden to get to the alter. i kept creeping forward because i wanted to see what was going on. i didn't want to miss anything! christine kept telling me to stay put but i couldn't help myself! on the bench to the left, you can see a basket filled with birdseed bundles and programs.
HERE COMES THE BRIDE!
can you see the big smile in the picture below? well, all eyes were on me so no one was looking at scott. my whole walk down the aisle, scott was sticking his tongue in and out and making faces at me! LOL! he always could make me laugh!
here are the guys muggin' for the camera. scott is with our friend alan. and off to the right is our best man, matt talking to ted (both good friends). our photographer was the BEST! well worth the $ invested!
i was very lucky to have a great florist whom we found at victory market. she was very fond of me & scott and made a large bouquet for me at a good price!
